DIVERSIFIED miner BHP Billiton expects to book $US7.2 billion ($A10.3 billion) in pre-tax impairments against its onshore US oil and gas assets for the second half of 2015 as West Texas Intermediate’s further 30% drop over the past three months caught it on the hop.
