Ardmore on ice

WHILE Centrex Metals’ start-up phosphate washing plant is primed to start after being assembled without incident at Ardmore in North West Queensland, a slump in the phosphate rock price has caused Centrex to defer the start of operations and start cost cutting while it shores up more money for the planned trial mining campaign.
