Weir buys Motion Metrics

ENGINEERING company Weir Minerals plans to roll out innovative artificial intelligence and three-dimensional rugged machine vision technology across the whole mining value chain following its acquisition of Canada-based technology group Motion Metrics, for $81.95 million.
