VLI’s diesel sector developed JUG-A-O Z1210 specifically for underground coal mines.

The Z1210 is an upgrade from its predecessor, the JUG-A-O diesel-powered 4x4 loader.

According to Valley Longwall International sales & marketing manager Chad Dillinger, the new model has the ability to lift 12,000 kilograms and can tow a 50 tonne chock trailer.

“It has the best operator visibility, it is quieter, more powerful, more efficient and more user friendly – with the lowest out-of-the-pipe diesel particulate matter than any similar machine on the Australian market,” Dillinger said.

VLI’s will also exhibit drill rigs, a conveyor system and a prototype of its new driftrunner.

The driftrunner is a heavy duty personnel handling vehicle and includes a new engine system, transmission, axles and suspension system.

While VLI are looking to attract interest to its new driftrunner, the new utility loader looks to be the main stand out.

Dillinger said creating VLI’s new utility loader was possible because of the technology used.

“We have access to the best technologies available in the world today,” he said.

“With this advantage, coupled with our commitment to research and development, we continue to deliver high quality, innovative solutions for all types of mining, transportation, bulk materials handling, loading and drilling activities.”

VLI will be at stand 200 during AIMEX, which is running September 6-9 at Sydney’s Olympic Park.
