Metito’s scope of work includes design, fabrication and supervising the installation of initial equipment including seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants and sewage treatment plants to be used for the construction sites at GLNG.

It has also supplied demineralisation systems using reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation for APLNG as well as oily waste treatment systems for GLNG.

“We are honoured to work with Bechtel on such important projects which we see as a valuable opportunity for our team to build on Metito's Australian local projects' portfolio,” Metito international business development manager Tarek Ghandour said.

Metito has previously supplied similar equipment for ConocoPhillips Darwin LNG project.
