ENTRIES to the Queensland Resources Council’s 2014 Resources Awards for Women will close at the end of the month, with BHP Billiton Mitsui Coal asset president Jacqui McGill making a keynote speech at the associated event weeks later.
Award categories include rising stars or women in trades or as operators, while men can also enter the gender diversity champion category for contributing to diversity in a mining sector’s workforce.
The RAW breakfast and event will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on March 7.
The awards and event are run by the QRC in partnership with Women in Mining and Resources Queensland.
