The Resources Queensland mobile app provides access to a range of information about investing in Queensland’s mining and petroleum sectors.

Queensland Mines Minister Andrew Cripps said the app covered the details of resources investment opportunities in the state and outlined its resources wealth and competitive advantages.

“The app showcases Queensland’s coal, mineral, CSG [coal seam gas] and deep gas operations, exploration and advanced projects and includes information about investing in Queensland resources, geoscience products and services, administration processes, and safety and health requirements,” he said.

“Users will also have access to key industry events, opportunities through Trade and Investment Queensland, the Queensland Globe, MyMinesOnline, MinesOnlineMaps, QDEX Reports, QDEX Data and other Queensland government online services.”

Cripps said the Department of Natural Resources and Mines had developed a number of digital and interactive tools to promote investment in the state.

Content downloaded from the Resources Queensland app will be available off network when the user is travelling or in remote areas.

Cripps said the app would be available free from Apple and Google stores and would provide access to ResourcesQ, the government’s 30-year plan for the resources industry.
