The new site is situated on 3000 square metre area with the capacity to overhaul AFC and BSL chain assemblies.

The facility is capable of reeling and pod loading the chain assemblies and can offer our customs a secured storage yard, according to Longwall Chain Australian managing director David Condor.

“We decided to set up at Emerald with its close proximity to the mines on being able to offer critical component spares in a very short time frame and to provide a complete chain overhaul facility saving downtime and transportation costs for our customers.

“Longwall Chain Australia has maintained its growth strategy in both NSW and Queensland in order to support our products of JDT Mining chain and Longwall Associates equipment.

“We are very excited on opening the Emerald site along with recently supplying the largest AFC chain currently running in Australia - -JDT 52mm F-Class in HO material along with Longwall Associates’ drive system.”
