The company was named a finalist in the ‘Start-Up Disruptor’ category of the inaugural 2015 BRW & PwC’s Private Clients Aspire Awards.
GRT managing director Troy Adams said the awards are important for businesses that are making massive strides within industries that often go unrecognised.
“We are thrilled to have been nominated in the Aspire Awards and appreciate BRW and PwC’s initiative to recognise home-grown talent in the private sector,” Adams said.
The awards consider businesses from all major vertical industries, across seven “game-changing” categories.
The Start-Up Disruptor category recognises businesses that have been in-trade for three years or fewer, whose goods or services were innovative or disruptive in their industry or market, earning more than $5 million in annual revenue.
“The quality of businesses, and the innovation and milestones that have been achieved in these categories really shows the breadth of Australian talent in the business sector,” Adams said.
“We are really proud of the work we have done and what we have been able to achieve with our world-first technology.
“Our dust control solutions have made safer working and living conditions for people from rural Australia, to drought ridden Papua New Guinea. It means a lot to receive this recognition.”
