Mende to step down from White

WHITE Energy director and prominent coal mining investor Hans Mende, who now resides in the United States, intends to resign his directorship at the end of the month.

Due to his other business commitments his ability to attend Board meetings has reduced and therefore he feels it best if he resigns, White Energy CEO Brian Flannery said.

“I have known Hans for many years and appreciate his contribution to the White Energy Board,” he said.

“His company, AMCI Worldwide Limited, remains a top 20 shareholder of White Energy.”
