Changes within the senior executive structure include appointing Christian Larsen to lead the company’s technology and strategic development area, while Peter Olsen will take up the position of acting chief operating officer.

“Tying all of this together is our dedication to meeting customer needs through global support,” Meldrum said.

Meldrum said Runge’s aim was to assist customers by optimising the value of their natural resource assets and help them to identify and manage risk.

The role of acting chief operating officer has been absent up until now after Meldrum left the position in July to take up the role of managing director from 20-year serving Tony Kinnane.

“Together with new chief financial officer Kieran Wallace, the refreshed executive general management team will deliver a new level of accountability and transparency to Runge Limited’s operation and strategy,” said Meldrum, who has been with Runge for six years.
