Mitt gains certification

ENWARE’s non-toxic, non-corrosive and environmentally-friendly decontamination mitt has been granted an Australian Therapeutic Goods Certification, making it safe for use on skin. It can also absorb and neutralise a wide range of dangerous and toxic substances.

Lou Caruana

The Decon Mitt consists of a pouch containing a wipe-down mitt filled with a decontaminating powder called FAST-ACT. The mitt is backed with a soft padded film to protect the user from contamination and is packaged to fit comfortably and easily into work wear pockets or small storage spaces.

The decontamination powder used in Enware’s Decon Mitt provides better chemical protection and decontamination than other industrial solutions currently available, according to the company.

This is achieved as not only does the product absorb a wide range of dangerous toxic industrial and military substances, but it also neutralises them in order to make a safer by-product for safer disposal.
