Tyco regional manager Queensland Sjef Klaassen said the complexities and dangers of the mining industry created fire and security protection requirements.
“By bringing our specialised fire and security expertise together under the Tyco Integrated Fire & Security banner, we can provide the mining industry with cohesive end-to-end solutions,” Klaassen said.
“In today’s volatile mining environment, it is critical that Queensland and Northern Territory mine operators implement rigorous fire and security solutions to protect assets and staff from costly and sometimes fatal environmental, health and safety (EHS) risks.
Tyco’s team of fire and security experts will be on hand at QME to discuss how the latest innovations in fire protection and security systems can help mine operators streamline their fire and security planning, installation and maintenance activities.
“This important industry event provides invaluable insights into current EHS challenges and opportunities facing Queensland and Northern Territory mine operators,” Klaassen said.
QME is being held in Mackay from July 22 to 24.
