CME hopes to play a significant role in the future development of Australia’s longwall coal mining equipment. Backed by the Chinese Government, CME has found its stride in the last two years, now competing in price, availability and most importantly – quality.

Recently investing millions of dollars in manufacturing plants, CME has started efforts to expand its product base past Chinese, Russian, Polish and Indian mines. The CME exhibit will change the world’s perception of Chinese manufactured equipment.

CME is totally driven to achieve the goal of being number one in product quality, service and backup support in the longwall equipment industry.

Its range includes full turnkey longwall systems with the major product groups being:

Armoured face conveyors

Shearers and ploughs

Powered roof supports

Beam stage loaders

Crushers

Parsons mining chains

Hydraulic props

Safety equipment

All built to specification

At this year’s AIMEX CME will exhibit:

Roof Support:

Type ZY8600/22/45 Two-Leg Hydraulic Shield Support, with a working range of 2200mm to 4500mm high, producing a yield load of 8600kN. The roof support comes direct from Asia’s largest assembly plant, producing over 6000 tailored supports per year for the domestic and international market.

Ranging Arm:

Suited to the MG650/1480-WD Electric Haulage Shearer, made from one single cast of high quality steel and then machined down using the latest CNC machines. The shearer has a cutting height of 2300mm to 5100mm and is used in some of the leading coal mines in China.

Heavy Duty Pan Line:

Complete with Parsons 48 x 152 Compact Xtra Chain and flights fitted.

Parsons Mining Chain:

The full range of Parsons Mining Chain and Connectors will be displayed including 30mm, 34mm, 42mm and 48mm varieties. Ellton staff will also be on hand to discuss the full package of monitoring and build/rebuild services Ellton offers chain customers.

Working Model of AFC and BSL installation:

A real drawcard will be the fully functional one-sixth scale AFC and BSL installation.

Daily discussions will take place in the onsite presentation room, including topics such as the application of longwall equipment in difficult geological conditions and the precursors to stress corrosion in mining chains.

Ellton Conveyors will also be present on the stand exhibiting the latest in conveyor design and technology.
