With the new certification, which Magnetek announced late last week, the company will offer full technical repair services including technical support, warranty and non-warranty repairs, and onsite commissioning.

Support and repair work will be performed at Magnetek’s facility in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, using only factory-authorized components and parts. All repairs will be covered under Yaskawa’s standard warranty terms and conditions.

Company vice president and general manager Brad Taylor said the deal allowed for increased support to current and future customers by its technicians, who have all successfully completed Yaskawa’s factory certification tests.
