New GM appointed for Waratah Hire and Waratah Engineering

MARK Kingshott has been appointed general manager of Waratah Hire and Waratah Engineering (Cardiff) with effect from August 1.

Waratah, based in Newcastle, New South Wales, is part of the Wareng Group of companies.

Waratah employs over 50 staff and is a leading provider of hire equipment for the underground coal mining industry in Australia. The hire fleet comprises a variety of continuous miners, shuttlecars, feederbreakers and associated equipment, supported by a repair workshop and field service team.

Kingshott has extensive experience in the underground coal mining industry throughout the world having worked for Dowty, Meco, Longwall International and Joy Mining Machinery.
