A certified public accountant and finance and accounting graduate of Florida State University, he replaces Mark Oldham.

Love had been National Coal’s management consultant since June of this year, a position he had served in with several other public organisations since June 2004.

Before embarking on his consultancy work, Love filled executive finance positions for Air Jamaica Vacations, Blockbuster Entertainment and Gerald Stevens. Over his professional career, Love was involved in the acquisitions of at least 250 companies.

National Coal is fairly new to the industry - established in January 2003. It produces coal from two Tennessee mines and four Kentucky operations.
