QRC will be at the Bundaberg careers show on July 17 as part of QRC’s Get a Life careers awareness campaign aimed at students.

The Get a Life campaign shows life in the resources sector from the perspective of young professionals and tradespeople in the industry.

QRC chief executive Michael Roche said instead of just complaining about shortages, the QRC is active on a number of fronts to increase the pool of skilled workers available to the sector.

The organisation’s Get a Life display will be at the Bundaberg careers show at Kepnock State High School at 10am-3pm and 5-7pm. It includes helpful promotional materials and the chance to win a digital video camera valued at $700.
