DBT sells crusher technology business

DBT has further narrowed its focus on underground coal mining technology with the sale of its mineral processing subsidiary to Germany-based Hazemag & EPR GmbH.

Angie Tomlinson

DBT has worked in the field of mineral processing for decades and has accumulated years of crusher technology know-how. Its horizontal crushing technology is unique worldwide.

The new owner, Hazemag, owned by the Schmidt, Kranz & Co Group, provides technical solutions in raw material processing, recycling and disposal as well as mining and drilling technology.

The Dülmen-based company regards the acquisition of the DBT Mineral Processing crushing technology as an ideal addition to its existing product portfolio and intends to continue developing the crusher business outside the coal mining area.
