Crowley was NVMA’s director of government affairs and community relations from 1998 until 2002. He is the co-founder of and partner in the Griffin Crowley Group, a public outreach and government affairs organisation.

“Tim’s passion, experience and knowledge of Nevada will be incredible assets for our association and the industry,” NVMA board chairman Greg Lang said of Crowley, who is from the state.

“He is a great communicator who understands the intricacies and complexities of the mining industry and champions its importance to our state.”

NVMA was established in 1912, originally as the Nevada Mine Operators Association.
