The Pennsylvanian coal miners became trapped when 198 million litres of water from a neighbouring mine burst through the wall of the underground colliery in which they were working.
They survived in an air pocket for three days until rescuers were able to drill down and pull them to safety.
The local organisations involved include the American Red Cross, area ambulance services, nine local church organisations, the Salvation Army, the Sipesville Fire Department and the Somerset County Fire School.
The concert featured a number of artists including Twice Robin and Stella Parton.
Black Wolf Coal Co and Coal Leader magazine also presented the concert.
