JDT chain supply remains strong

LONGWALL Chain Australia managing director David Condor says the company has had to maintain higher levels of stockholding and move to larger premises due to the high market demand for the JDT mining chain in the Australian coal industry.

“To enable us to support the market efficiently, Longwall Chain Australia maintains high levels of JDT mining chain and connectors,” Condor told ILN.

“This will enable us to react rapidly to customers’ demand, especially when required for emergency spare parts.”

Condor said the additional stockholding area provided easier access for transportation and the ability to hold equipment onsite for customers.

“The larger facility at Adventure Place, Taren Point in New South Wales will also provide additional engineering support to the market,” he said.
