Boggabri dozer collision

A WATER truck was involved in a minor collision with a stationary dozer at the Boggabri open cut coal mine in New South Wales’ Gunnedah Basin yesterday morning. The driver was uninjured.

ICN understands that the truck made contact with the dozer while it was being filled with water. The driver was believed to have been trapped for a short time with damage to the door believed to be the cause.

“Boggabri Coal confirms a minor vehicle incident involving a water truck occurred at the mine site at approximately 6.30am today,” an Idemitsu Australia spokesman said yesterday.

“The truck driver suffered no injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. He was discharged from hospital this morning.”
