The PRAS3EX is a dust-ex proof sensor and features include analog output, protection class 1P65, the option of 10mm shaft or 6mm hollow shaft and magnetic measurement principle.

ACE said the products predecessor, the PRAS3EX, used the magnate measurement principle to measure angles from 0-360, but the shaft version of the PRAS3EX could do a maximum of 10,000 r.p.m.

The product can also withstand temperatures from minus 20°C to plus 40°C.

In March the company introduced the new MLC 9000+ temperature control system under its West brand product range.

The multi-loop temperature control system uses up to eight loop control modules for each bus control module.
