According to local news outlet WSAZ, seven loaded coal cars left the tracks in the early afternoon.

While no information was available on injuries, and an ILN request for more details from state officials was not returned by press time, the station said that the cars were not overturned but were all off the tracks.

CSX also did not make a public statement on the incident.

The cause is still not known, and rail line crews were on site Wednesday afternoon to clear the derailed cars.
