Leighton director resigns

LEIGHTON Holdings has announced the resignation of Dr Frank Stieler from the company’s board, effective November 20, 2012.

Jon Cuthbert

The construction giant previously advised of Dr Stieler’s intention to resign from the board of the company following his resignation as CEO and Member of the Executive Board of Hochtief AG.

Stieler had served as a non-executive director of the company since May 2011.

The board thanked Stieler for his contribution as a representative of the company’s major shareholder over that time.

As a consequence of Stieler’s resignation, the appointment of Robert Seidler as alternate director ceases.

Seidler has been appointed an alternate director for David Robinson effective November 20, 2012.
