CURRENT Thiess business development manager Ian Kraemer will assume the role of managing director of Mantle Mining from February next year.
Kraemer will join the company just months after it acquired the 500 million tonne Mt Mulligan coal deposit near Cairns.
Outgoing MD Stephen de Belle will retire from his position when Kraemer takes up the role and assume a new role at Mantle Mining as a non-executive director.
