Trapped Chinese miner survives

A CHINESE miner has survived for 113 hours trapped underground in a flooded coal mine.

The Qunfa Coal mine was inundated on Wednesday, trapping four workers, official news agency Xinhua reported.

The news agency said more than 1000 people took part in the rescue work, with the rescuers finding the miner.

The other three miners did not survive.
