MSHA offers manufacturers a helping hand

MSHA is responsible for approving and certifying mining products for use in underground coal and gassy underground metal mines.

Products are evaluated and tested by technical experts for compliance with US regulations, and, if successful, are issued with an internationally recognised licence for use in mines.

The workshop aims to educate and assist manufacturers about the approval process and specific program area requirements.
