The production level was assisted by some additional weekend shifts.

Output for September was 282,072 tonnes which continued Austral’s exponential production growth since its move to Tahmoor North in June.

Austral said production downtime caused by high CO2 levels associated with the dyke had diminished considerably. The dyke was expected to be off the face over the weekend.

Austral’s first repayment of it’s A$5.2 million project loan was made on Thursday.
