Total sales for 2004 were up four percent on 2003, while total revenue was up by more than 20%. Clean coal sales for the quarter totalled 469,000 tonnes.

During the quarter Gloucester continued to review Duralie seismic data over the prospective Duralie underground resource area.

Gloucester said it will undertake drilling in the first half of 2005 to determine coal quality, seam gas and primary geotechnical properties. Mining consultants Minarco Asia Pacific and Gloucester will investigate underground mining techniques suitable for Duralie.
