MST specialises in purpose-built technology for underground mines as well as communication infrastructure for surface mines and high data communication networks to link remote mining sites.

The company has offices in Australia, Canada and the United States and boasts customers including Xstrata, Rio Tinto, WMC Resources, Newmont, Newcrest, Anglo Coal and BHP Billiton.
