According to local news station KFSM, truck driver Ron Fair told officials his foot slipped off the brake, sending him into the Union Pacific line at about 9am.

UP officials did not issue comment Wednesday afternoon, but local authorities told the station the train had been traveling at about 80 kilometres per hour. Its origin and destination were not released.

Fair’s injuries were said to be minor, and the train continued on its route about a delay of about two hours.
