Martin Engineering launches rental program

US-based Martin Engineering says it has introduced a guaranteed rental program for its line of industrial vibrators to provide operations with a cost-effective option.

The plan for the vibrator line, designed for vibratory screens such as shale shakers and other solids separation equipment, is the industry’s first factory-direct vibrator rental program.

The GRP will include replacements for all foreign vibratory motor suppliers as well as US suppliers.

“It’s intended to provide a ‘third option’ for equipment users: a cost-effective alternative to OEM motors or local shop refurbishment,” the company said.

“Martin is currently the only US manufacturer of large industrial vibratory drives, including explosion-proof models, for OEM and aftermarket use.

“The various models are engineered and manufactured in the USA, assembled domestically and in a number of Martin facilities around the world.”

Martin Engineering said a monthly flat fee would cover all service and maintenance to sites, while any failed units would be replaced by the manufacturer at no charge.

Rental customers have the advantage of avoiding financial burden and potential production outages stemming from sudden drive failures under the program because the company will be taking over responsibility for vibrator upkeep and repairs.

Additionally, all service will be performed by qualified factory-direct technicians.

“The rental program gives customers greater flexibility in budgeting for replacement and maintenance,” global product manager Brad Pronschinske said.

“In the past, companies that couldn’t afford extended downtime were forced to purchase a backup motor for shale shakers and other vibratory equipment.

“With the new program, Martin Engineering offers rental as an alternative, with no money down and a fixed cost per month, yet it continues to protect customers from costly downtime and emergency capital expenditures.”

Depending on the number of units rented, the company noted that it would provide customers with spare vibratory drives as part of a rental agreement and all vibrators in the Martin Engineering rental program would be backed by a full replacement warranty that extended throughout the life of the contract with no limit to usage time.

The program’s terms and availability may vary by region.

Martin Engineering is headquartered in Neponset, Illinois.

It offers manufacturing, sales and service from its factory-owned business units in Brazil, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa, Turkey, India, the UK, Japan, Russia and Peru, as well as in Australia under exclusive licence with ESS Australia.
