Caterpillar VP leaves cocoon

CATERPILLAR global information services vice-president Randy Krotowski has decided to spread his wings, resigning from the company after 25 years.

Krotowski was also the company’s chief information officer, with his departure effective on June 1.

“Randy has more than 25 years of experience in the information technology field and we wish him well as he pursues future endeavours,” Caterpillar group president Brad Halverson said.

Cat will immediately begin a global search to find a new GIS VP and CIO.
