Andrew Boyd has been appointed as his successor.

Denney has had 35 years coal mining, processing and technical marketing experience in the Hunter Valley, Central Queensland and in the United States.

He has worked for both owner operators and contractors. He has also been closely involved in several large coal mining and processing feasibility studies for new projects.

Boyd commenced with New Hope in 2014 and had responsibility for developing strategy and pursuing growth initiatives across the business in his former tole of general manager.

He is a mining engineer with over 20 years industry experience with a range of mine owners, service providers and financial investors.

Over this time Boyd has led a number of merger and acquisition activities and been involved in IPOs and corporate finance.
