In its December quarterly released this week, County said it would soon announce results from its data package analysis and resource upgrade program at Shell Creek, designed to increase the resource from its current measured 332 million tonnes.
A 10-hole second stage drilling program at Shell Creek will commence soon with the aim of publishing a revised resource this quarter.
County’s other Powder River Basin project, Miller, has a 310Mt JORC resource.
The company aims to define a total 1 billion tonne thermal coal resource and develop the two projects to produce 5Mtpa each for export to Asian markets.
County’s float was one of the most successful on the Australian Securities Exchange last year.
