Port of Brisbane - July shipping figures

July tonnages over 12% down on July 1999.

The Port of Brisbane Corporation reported that it shipped a total of 154,265 tonnes of coal in the month of July 2000. This performance equates to approximately 1.851 million tonnes annualised and represents a decrease of 12.85% on the 177,004 tonnes shipped in July 1999.

Calendar year to date (January to July 2000) the Port of Brisbane has shipped a total of 1,107,947 tonnes, which equates to about 1.899 million tonnes annualised. For comparison purposes, the Port of Brisbane shipped 2,107,158 tonnes for the financial year (July 1999 to June 2000).
