Metalliferous and coal underground and open cut teams from across New South Wales, as well as visitors from all other states and territories within Australia have been encouraged to attend.

The challenge hopes to teach and encourage Mine’s Rescue members skills through realistic and practical scenarios; provide opportunities for self-reflection and improvement through coaching and observing others; better equip Mine’s Rescue members for their roles in the future; and share ideas and expertise between different organisations, working in the mining industry.

Registrations are due by April 23 to NSWMineRescueChallenge@wheatonriver.com.au
