FINAL demographics from the MinExpo gate showed more than 70% of visitors had key input into their company’s purchasing decisions while 43% of visitors represented the coal sector.

The 1,226 exhibitors at the show enjoyed a high-quality audience that included upper management and key decision makers. Total number of registrations was 30,159, with a verified attendance of 26,866.

Registrants responsible for specifying, recommending or having final approval over their company’s purchases numbered 73%, 34% was upper management and 21% of attendees were from overseas.

“The high quality audience at this year’s show produced thousands of well-qualified leads for exhibitors, and reinforces MINExpo’s reputation as the world’s most important and influential mining exposition,” NMA chief Jack Gerard said.
