QMASTOR wins stockpile contract

LEADING supplier of bulk materials management information systems and services, QMASTOR, has secured a five-year contract with BHP Billiton Illawarra Coal for stockpile quality management services.

“This contract further extends QMASTOR’s relationship with BHP Billiton Illawarra Coal which commenced in 1995. This is QMASTOR Limited’s largest contract to date and demonstrates QMASTOR’s ability to supply best practice bulk materials management systems and services to major global commodity companies,” said Trent Bagnall, managing director of QMASTOR.

QMASTOR’s will supply its Pit to Port.Net management information system and an operations manager as part of the quality management service. BHP Billiton Illawarra will be provided with cargo projections for export and domestic deliveries and quality tracking services through both Dendrobium and West Cliff washeries. The contract also includes stockpile surveying services.

QMASTOR provides a suite of bulk material management systems that allows mining, port and power generation companies to maximise profitability through the efficient use of resources. The company’s systems are integrated into the day-to-day running of bulk material businesses, managing over 100 million tonnes per annum of bulk material movements through the operations, logistics, marketing and commercial functions.
