MACARTHUR Coal chief Ken Talbot, together with the likes of Quadrem and Komatsu, will headline the Mining Logistics & Supply Chain Management conference in Brisbane, December 5-6 2005.

The conference will cover issues related to overseas demand and improvements to infrastructure; equipment and machinery shortages; tyre issues; asset management; implementation of the chain of responsibility legislation; IT software; e-procurement; and labour shortages and recruitment.

IIR’s Mining Logistics & Supply Chain Management 2005 conference is aimed at delivering practical and interesting information on how to best deal with this demand,” conference organiser IIR said.
