Western Canadian Coal ramps up production at Wolverine

WESTERN Canadian Coal has received the amended mine permit from the British Columbia Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources to allow for increased production of hard coking coal at the Wolverine Mine Project in northeast British Columbia.

The amendment increases the allowable production to 2.4 million tonnes per annum from the previously approved level of 1.6Mtpa.

The company’s 100% owned Wolverine Mine Project is scheduled to commence production this month.
