Minarco’s staffs have financial qualifications and experience, as well as technical skills and experience. This assists the consultancy to focus on adding value to the client’s business, as opposed to just solving technical problems.
Minarco is able to provide to the client a very good understanding of the full spectrum of issues that need to be managed to get the risk return balance correct.
Whilst most of its work revolves around financial aspects, Minarco strives to provide expert advice across the full range of its services, and hence directly employs core skills in mining engineering, valuation, independent public reporting, project management and commercial issues.
In the past year, most of Minarco’s work has been in the areas of strategic corporate advice, independent technical advice for banks and IPOs, and planning roles. Other work has included technical reviews, valuations and exploration.
Minarco’s business in Asia has expanded significantly over the past two years. Growth in demand from Asian countries for shares in offshore mines as well as western expertise to set up local deposits has helped drive this development.
