KL3LM(A) integrates highly compact 3Ah Li-ion rechargeable battery cells and highly efficient white LEDs into a small IP67 case. It uses a reflected high-powered LED as the main source, plus higher battery capacity and improved circuit, to achieve a high beam, long projection and spotting.

Six small LEDs work as auxiliary lights for second level illumination and emergency. It also has a high beam mode to provide a temporary high beam for strong light spotting. The caplamp weighs 130g; has IS level Ex ia I/IIC; operating time of 14 hours; and adjustable light angle. Kinyun also provides compact charging banks and various accessories for applications other than the caplamp.

KL3LM(A) is currently being tested by TestSafe, along with a red colour model, lightweight model, 8-hour model and others.

This model will replace the already certified KL2.4LM(A).
