Tiaro wins grant for Maryborough

TIARO Coal Joint Venture has received a $75,000 grant from the Queensland Government to complete a drilling program in the Maryborough Basin.

TCJV applied for a grant from the $6 million Collaborative Drilling Initiative under the Smart Mining Future Prosperity program, which aims to increase exploration investment in Queensland.

The $75,000 will go towards a stratigraphic drilling program that will increase knowledge of coal potential in the Maryborough Basin in South East Queensland.
