MINING industry veteran Michael Cook has joined US-based conveyor manufacturer Longwall Associates.
He will join the manufacturer’s sales team.
Cook began his mining career 40 years ago after completing a mechanical engineering degree at North Gloucestershire College.
He has worked with Dowty, Meco International, Joy, American Longwall and Eickhoff.
Cook was also proprietor of West Penn Industrial Services.
