US still importing Aussie coal

THE US continued to import coal in the second quarter primarily from Colombia (86.7%), Canada (10.5%), and Australia (2.7%), according to information supplied by the Energy Information Administration.

No imports were reported from Indonesia for second quarter 2016. US coal imports in second quarter 2016 totaled 2.3 million short tons.
