COKAL has barged a total of 6300 tonnes of PCI coal from its BBM-Anak minesite in Kalimantan to an intermediate stockpile at Muara Teweh, a distance of about 275 km downstream on Barito River.
Product coal will be sold to the domestic market.
The mine plan is based on an open cut mine at a nominal production rate of 10,000t per month over a reserve of around 280,000t.
