Following wins in 2011, 2012 and 2013, Micromine was again successful in the category of engineering mining/metals/steel – software of exploration, geology/production control of mines.

“Micromine is honoured to have received this significant award for a fourth year in a row,” Micromine Brazil regional manager Beck Nader said.

“I am thrilled that the outstanding calibre of our solutions has been formally recognised by key industry figures.

“Micromine’s ongoing success in the awards confirms our leadership position within the South American mining sector.

“The company offers software solutions and services for the entire mining process and counts many of the region’s most significant mining companies as clients.”

Awarded companies were selected by Direct Research, which heard from engineers associated with the Alumnus Association of the Engineering School of the Federal University of Minas Gerais.

Key decision makers and directors from leading industry sectors were also responsible for judging entries.

Micromine recently launched the latest version of its namesake exploration and mine design solution, Micromine 2014.

It will release the latest versions of its field-logging and mine operations systems, Geobank Mobile 2 and Pitram 2015, shortly.
